Emmanuel Ibru
Emmanuel Ibru (born December 21, 1962) is a Nigerian billionaire entrepreneur and palm oil tycoon[1][2]. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Aden River Estates Limited, an agro-industrial subsidiary of the Ibru Organization[3] He is also the President of the Nigerian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry[4]He served on the board of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA).[5]
Early life, education, and career
Emmanuel Ibru was born into the Ibru dynasty on December 21, 1962, in Lagos, Nigeria[6][7] He attended Millfield between 1976 and 1980 for 'A' levels. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Skidmore College, New York, in 1984. He earned an MBA in finance from Atlanta University Business School in 1988.[8][9]
Ibru is the president of As Racine FC that has produced great players like Peter Odemwingie, Brown Ideye, Fegor Ogude, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Olubayo Adefemi and Dominic Chatto[10][11]
He is also the Chairman/Group executive director of the Ibru Organization, a private indigenous conglomerate with interests in shipping, agriculture, banking, aviation, oil & gas, among others.[12][13]
He is a member of Ikoyi Club, Metropolitan Club and Apapa Club[14]
