Emmanuel Ntia

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Emmanuel Ntia was a Nigerian Highlife Musician who was prominent in the sixties and seventies especially for his hit song "the fish song"  and also he was the  oldest member of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON [1][2]

Biography[edit]

Emmanuel Ntia was born in 1924 and died in 2018. He was a great prompter of the cause of musics in his state and beyond. He was a one-time PMAN Chairman in Akwa Ibom State, and an advocator of copyright. [3]

In 2015, Emmanuel Ntia was given a major award at the COSON 5th Anniversary celebrations in Lagos and his name was written in  THE BOOK, the COSON Roll of Honour, where the history of only those who have contributed extraordinarily to the defence of the rights of creative people in Nigeria is contained [3].
