empath[edit]
An empath is a person that feels and absorbs other people’s emotions and/or physical symptoms because of their high sensitivities. They filter the world through their intuition and have a difficult time intellectualizing their feelings. There are three main types of empaths according to Dr. Judith Orloff who has been called “the godmother of the empath movement." Dr. Judith Orloff has taught the three main types of empaths are physical empath, emotional empath, and intuitive empath. Examples of subtypes are animal empath, plant empath, earth empath, and dream empath. [1]
