Emperor's Sword is a book by Connie Simon, independently published March 23, 2023.

here is a treaty between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. It covers accidental crossings of the border. Not that any crossing is accidental by any stretch of the imagination. They both still cross the border from time to time. Typically, for a good reason.

Enterprise crossed the border to attempt to defend the Klingon outpost at Narendra III. Three Romulan warbirds were attacking the outpost. Enterprise's odds of success were slim to none. She was doomed from the time she crossed the border.

Se' Renna changed those odds. She then crossed the border herself. Once in Federation space, she knew she was in violation of the treaty, but her intentions were the best. That was where this story begins. The story takes several awkward turns as it progresses.

By the end, Se' Renna is faced with a difficult decision. A decision that could, and most probably will, affect her life as a Klingon Captain. Along the way, she has her friend, Kolos, to keep her on the straight and narrow.
