Emrah Gultekin

Emrah Gultekin (born 1973) is an entrepreneur who is currently co-founder and CEO of Chooch Intelligence Technologies, a Silicon Valley AI start-up.

Between 2001-2009 he was best known for his development of logistics operations and logistics facilities in Turkey and Central Asia working for UTi Worldwide and Goodman Group. In 2009 he co-founded Plato School of Higher Education, an arts and design college in Istanbul and between 2009-2014 had a leading role in the re-development / re-generation process of Balat-Ayvansaray, a dilapidated historical district in the old city of Istanbul.

Emrah was educated at Dhahran Academy in Dhahran Saudi Arabia, Woodberry Forest School in Virginia, USA and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He was an acclaimed swimmer until 1993 when he quit to pursue other interests. He held the 50m freestyle Turkish national record from 1993–2002 and was co-captain of the national team in 1991 and 1992.[1]
