En una telenovela...
"En una telenovela ..." is a short film directed by Julian Bejarano and Daniela Lobo. The short film is divided into two parts and is considered a parody of the typical Mexican telenovela. Starring Frida Jimenez and Rodrigo Santos and the antagonism Daniela Lobo and the participation of Nilsa Flores, Isabella Garcia and Victoria Ruiz.
Sinopsis
Paola (Daniela Lobo), an ambitious and cruel woman, covets the fortune of her brother-in-law despite the fact that she is already a millionaire. For this, she will have to marry him, not caring that her sister Maria Ines (Frida Jimenez) is married to him. On the other hand, Maria Ines has to decide between the love she feels for Adolfo and Luis Antonio (Julian Bejarano), a boy who was always in love with her. Paola is willing to do anything to get what she wants, but only one of the two sisters can reach happiness ...

En una telenovela... Part 1
Paola plans a way to get Adolfo's compassion to be able to approach him. She has the help of Francisca and Leonarda, who help her unconditionally so that she finally marries Adolfo. Paola pretends to be sick and sympathizes with her sister María Inés, but not with Adolfo. On the other hand, Luis Antonio continues to fight against the love of María Inés, which leads him to visit the Pigoni Mansion, but upon arrival he meets Adolfo and María and, after a fight, Adolfo pulls out a gun and Luis Antonio shoots. Spend a while and Adolfo recovers, in all that time, Leonarda has not communicated with Paola and thinks she is up to something, Leonarda decides to call her and while they talk, Leonarda thinks about betraying Paola and telling the whole truth to Adolfo. Leonarda visits the Pigoni Mansion without knowing that Paola will also arrive, Leonarda begins to talk with Adolfo and when she was about to tell him the truth, Adolfo receives a call, he apologizes to her and asks for a moment to answer . Paola leaves and threatens Leonarda, swearing that she would take revenge ...

Leonarda is scared since her ex-accomplice threatened her, she knows what Paola is capable of and she has to hurry to tell Adolfo the whole truth, but she can not find him and when she returns home she meets Paola, who after a fight, Paola pushes her from the stands, receiving her punishment for being evil. Leonarda is hospitalized and Adolfo visits her, finds her almost paralytic, but before she loses her speech, Leonarda manages to overwhelm Adolfo. Adolfo finds his lawyer talking on the phone with Paola about the Pigoni fortune. Fortune was already being transferred little by little to her bank account. Adolfo threatens him and demands that he set a trap for Paola, visiting her in the afternoon.
Paola believes she has control, and every second that passed her wealth was enlarged. Upon hearing of Leonarda's accident, Maria Ines visits her, who also receives the news that Paola is not the person she believed. Maria Ines decides to face the sister that she once loved. Finally, the moment arrived, Paola returns to the Pigoni, presuming her victory, not knowing that she had not managed to silence her ex-accomplice at all. Upon arrival, she meets Maria Ines and it is there where it is decided which of the two achieves happiness.
A kidnapping, threats, revenge plans and reunions are some of the events that occur after the reunion of Paola and Maria, so Adolfo concludes that their lives have really been like in a telenovela...
Filmmaking

The production had a location where they had 13 forums, of which 8 were used to film both parts of the short film. Saturdays and Sundays were the days of rehearsal and filming, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. at 9:00 pm.
Actors left the set before finishing filming
Leo Moncada, who played Andres (originally the Main Character), stopped filming the short at 4 months of filming due to lack of time in relation to other activities, this is why it is not seen in some scenes of part 1 and all the short film of part 2, since the production decided to filming the story without the character, eliminating the scenes that the actor had already recorded from part 2 and filming them again with the rest of the cast.
Luna Ponce who played Estefania Pigoni in part 1 had to leave the character since her family moved to another country and could not continue with the shooting. However, the production made some changes in the story and in the last scene her character is mentioned and in previous scenes she is said to be traveling.
Crysthal Aviles played Camila Pigoni, the fourth daughter of the Pigoni, in "Telenovelas V.S Realidad". When it was officially announced the sequel to "Telenovelas VS Realidad", "En una telenovela ...", Crysthal could not continue with her character and the director met Isabella Garcia, actress who plays Francisca Pigoni, and instead of continuing the character with Isabella, another daughter was added to the Pigoni, Francisca. In the sequel, it's never mentioned what happens with Camila.

Release
On July 25, 2018, the premiere of both parts of the short film was held at Metrocinemas, Novacentro in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Where actors, staff, sponsors, special guests and media attended to see the final product. The short film had good acceptance by the public, considering that it was a short film made by beginners and with a low budget.
The presentation lasted one hour with five minutes, presenting special thanks, promotional, a summary of the prequel, both parts of the short film, behind the scenes and credits.
