From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Enablers[1] is an e-commerce guidance platform based in Pakistan, that assists people in setting up online businesses[2]. It does this by offering eCommerce based learnings from those who have experience in this field.[3] Enablers' areas of focus include Amazon[4] eCommerce, virtual assistance and freelancing.[5] The company also operates through a Facebook group[6][7] with over 796,000 members[6], with the aim to provide a sense of community learning among beginners in eCommerce. This group serves to relay information to those struggling with setting up their online businesses, as well as to answer questions.

History[edit]

Established in 2018[8], by founder and CEO, Saqib Azhar[9] [7] Enablers set itself to build upon the learnings from Azhar's[10] own journey on Amazon[8] with the purpose of educating and enabling individuals across Pakistan looking for a newer or secondary source of income.[11]

During their growth phase, Enablers partnered with Payoneer[12][13][14], to make cross-border[13] payments easier for local eCommerce business owners in February 2021[15][16]. The partnership with Payoneer was also required because of Pakistan's weak digital payment infrastructure[17]. The company also struck a partnership with Amazon to help online businesses[18].

The Team[edit]

Under the leadership of Azhar as CEO and his brother, Faisal Azhar as COO[3], the two brothers manage the business, including working in areas such as digital media management and customer services[21]. The on-ground team is based around City Lead Ambassadors who promote the company and its products in their cities, and City Consultants.
