Enclave is an application security software company that develops an AI-driven code-review system for identifying vulnerabilities in software repositories. The company was co-founded by Tal Hoffman, Dvir Segev, and Yanir Tsarimi.[1]
History
Co-founders Hoffman and Segev had previously built application-security tooling at the Israeli startup Enso Security.[2] Tsarimi was listed in Microsoft Security Response Center online-services acknowledgements in 2023, 2024 and 2025.[3]
The company emerged from stealth on March 26, 2026, with a US$6 million seed round announced by Business Insider.[1][2]
In April 2026 the company disclosed a vulnerability in Microsoft's Azure SRE Agent, tracked as CVE-2026-32173 and assigned a CVSS score of 8.6, by which an unauthorised observer could read live agent traffic, including credentials returned during routine operations.[4]
Product
The Enclave platform reviews software codebases as complete systems. It follows how data moves through the codebase to identify architectural vulnerabilities, including issues beyond traditional flaws such as cross-site scripting or SQL injection, and returns remediation steps with its findings.[2]
Funding
Enclave's seed round, announced on March 26, 2026, raised US$6 million at a US$33 million post-money valuation.[1] The round was led by 8VC with participation from a group of angel investors that included Patrick Collison, Marc Benioff, Aaron Levie, Diane Greene, Jeremy Stoppelman and Matt Huang of Paradigm.[1][2]
