Endeavor Business Media is an American magazine publishing and tradeshow company. Founded in December 2017, it acquires and operates trade publications, websites, marketing solutions, and events, targeting B2B audiences in the U.S. through multi-channel formats. The company covers industries such as industrial, city services/healthcare, transportation, design engineering/buildings/energy, and technology. Its headquarters are in Nashville, Tennessee.
History
The company was founded by Chris Ferrell, who previously served as CEO of SouthComm Communications. Ferrell left SouthComm in November 2017 and launched Endeavor Business Media with Patrick Rains and Townes Duncan.[1]
In January 2018, Endeavor acquired the Process Flow Network from Grand View Media.[2] Later that year, the company bought Gallo Business Media, adding nine hosted-buyer events in the transportation and city services sectors.[3]
In June 2018, Endeavor acquired B2B assets from SouthComm, adding 139 employees, 16 publications, 10 websites, and 10 events.[4] The company continued to grow with the acquisition of Plastics Machinery Magazine and the Healthcare Informatics Group from Vendome Group.[5]
In 2019, Endeavor acquired publications and events from Clarion Events, growing to nearly 400 employees managing over 40 brands and events.[6] Later that year, it acquired 23 magazines and seven events from Informa Intelligence.[7]
In 2020, Endeavor acquired Agora Communications, expanding its footprint in the water and electric utility sectors.[8]
