Enderby Entertainment is a film, television and digital media financing and production company, founded in 2006 by partners Rick Dugdale and Daniel Petrie Jr.. Rick Dugdale serves as the President and CEO for Enderby, with Cam Cannon in charge of Production and Development.

Founded in 2006 by partners Rick Dugdale and Daniel Petrie, Jr., Enderby Entertainment is a film, television and digital media financing and production company. In nearly 13 years, Enderby Entertainment has produced 18 feature films.

In 2012, Enderby produced the drama film About Cherry, directed by Stephen Elliot and stars James Franco, Dev Patel and Heather Graham.[1] It had its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, and was distributed by IFC Films in the United States.

Enderby Entertainment produced Dawn Patrol (2014) and Rosemont (2015), with both films being directed by Daniel Petrie Jr. Dawn Patrol stars Scott Eastwood and Rita Jones, whilst Rosemont stars Grace Zabriskie and Brad Dourif.

Enderby produced and financed the thriller Blackway (2015), which was the first film collaboration with director Daniel Alfredson and Enderby Entertainment. Directed by Daniel Alfredson, Blackway was adapted for the screen by Joseph Gangemi & Gregory Jacobs, based upon the novel Go with Me by Castle Freeman, Jr. The film starred Anthony Hopkins, Julia Stiles and Ray Liotta. Blackway had a gala world premiere at the 72nd Venice Film Festival, before being released worldwide in June 2016. Electric Entertainment would serve as worldwide distributor for the film.[2]

Next for Enderby was the thriller An Ordinary Man (2017), produced by Dugdale and written & directed by Brad Silberling. The film stars Hera Hilmar and Sir Ben Kingsley, and filmed across Serbia. Dugdale also arranged for its international distribution by Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, marking Enderby’s second collaboration with the Electric.[3]

Enderby’s recent Intrigo Anthology stars Ben Kingsley, Gemma Chan, Benno Fürman, Carla Juri, Phoebe Fox and Jeff Fahey in an exciting anthology of three stylish thrillers. Directed by Daniel Alfredsson, and adapted from renowned best-selling Swedish author Håkan Nesser’s book of the same name. The trilogy of feature films include Intrigo: Death of an Author,[4] Intrigo: Dear Agnes[5] and Intrigo: Samaria, all of which were shot back to back across Europe. The Anthology was released and distributed in various territories worldwide by Fox international and by Lionsgate in May 2020.[6]

Enderby’s most recent production is Recon, which stars Alexander Ludwig, Sam Keeley, Franco Nero and Chris Brochu. Recon is written and directed by Academy Award Winning filmmaker Robert Port (Twin Towers), and adapted from the novel by the iconic American author Richard Bausch. In February 2020, Enderby announced that it had completed a deal with Brainstorm media for the US distribution rights for Recon. Recon will hit screens nationwide for veterans day 2020 with Fathom Events and premiered at the 2019 Austin Film Festival.[7]

In May 2020, despite being in a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Enderby announced that it was starting virtual filming on its new thriller 92, with Dugdale set to make his directorial debut. 92 begun shooting in June 2020, filming virtually across 6 different countries. Dugdale will remotely supervise the virtual shoot in each country with their, with the actors’ own homes serving as the set. The production will work with the post-production team at People in the Park.[8][9]

Tony Seven films is the Enderby genre division. Tony Seven films' focus is producing modest-budget, high quality horror and genre films while developing new and emerging filmmakers. Tony-Seven Films has produced The Speak, Vile, 5 Souls, A Haunting At Silver Falls, No Tell Motel, and Blood Shed. In 2019, Tony-Seven Films released its first sequel: A Haunting at Silver Falls: The Return,[10] with a second sequel, No Tell Motel II, in active development for 2020.

Enderby Entertainment is partner of the Austin Film Festival and sponsor of the annual Enderby Entertainment Award for original screenplays, Enderby has selected more than 400 semi-finalists for its category and awarded top prizes to eight screenwriters. In 2019, Petrie was the recipient of the Austin Film Festival’s Heart of Film Award, presented by Scott Moore & John Lucas (The Hangover), Petrie’s former writing assistant.[11]
