Eneko Knörr (born February 21, 1975) is a Spanish Basque serial entrepreneur and investor.

Education[edit]

Born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, he studied in Bilbao, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of the Basque Country. In 2007 he attended the Advanced Management Program at IE Business School.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

In 2000 he founded Hostalia[1], a top-5 hosting company later sold to Telefonica in Spain. In 2010 he started Ludei[2] (San Francisco, California) and, in 2019, the digital assets custodian Onyze in Madrid.

As an angel investor, he had four exits: Ticketbis[3] (sold to eBay), Habitissimo[4] (sold to Homeserve), Petcoach[5] (sold to Petco), and Captio[6][7] (sold to Certify), and other successful Spanish startups such as Cabify[8], Badi[9] and many others are in his portfolio. He was awarded “Business Angel of the Year” in Spain in 2018[10].

Teaching[edit]

He is an Associate Professor[11] at IE Business School (Madrid), and a public speaker at entrepreneurship-related conferences (e.g. South Summit, Webcongress, 4YFN...).[citation needed]
