Eniola Adenuga was born March 29, 1990, in the United Kingdom. He is a Serial Businessman with interests in Power, Real estate and E-commerce technology. and the Executive Director of Globacom which is Nigeria's second-largest telecom operator and has a presence in Ghana and Benin.

Early Life and Education

His Father, Micheal Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr.[1] is a Nigerian billionaire businessman and chairman of Globacom telecom operator,[2] who also owns stakes in the Equitorial Trust Bank (Sterling Bank)[3] and the oil exploration firm, Conoil, Julius Berger and is of a royal ijebu descent, while his mother, Adefolake Marquis is an Educationist.[4] Eniola had his secondary school education at Dowen College, Lagos.[5] He graduated from NorthEastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in Business Management.[6]

Career

Eniola started his career in 2011 as an Executive Director of ConOil Producing Limited an Upstream Exploration and Production Company.[7]

He diversified into Power in 2014 by investing in the renewable energy sector and partnered with firms such as Atlantic Energy Partners and Engie.[8] The consortium entity was awarded a Power Generation license and also in the process of securing PPAs to build the Power Plant.

He is also a Group Executive Director of Globacom. His core focus has been on the Network, handling negotiations with key network equipment providers such as Huawei[9] Nokia [10] ZTE.[11]

Eniola led a breakthrough for Globacom [12] in 2019 by site by working on a Green Initiative to reduce carbon monoxide emission from its cell site by connecting the cell sites to stable Grid power with aback up battery solution. This initiative helped the company from running generators from 24 hours per day to 30 minutes in a month.

As data has been Glo core business and Glo being the No.1 data service provider with the most data subscribers in 2019. It has been clear to him that Data is the future. He is an advocate for tech start-ups and financial services platform in the e-commerce digital industry of Nigeria.[13]

Honours and Achievement

Eniola has secured strategic alliances with international experts and professionals in the field of power and finance.

He sits on Joint Management Committee (JMC) to represent Conoil Producing Limited on JV with Totalfinelf on OML 136.[14]

Eniola has been able to successfully negotiates Rigs and other drilling services with various local and international contractors on behalf of ConOil Producing Limited for various oil blocks.[15]

He has helped to facilitate engagements and recruitment processes for professional human capital requirements in ConOil Producing Limited.[16]

Eniola is also a Merger and Acquisition Specialist.
