Ennui (French for "Boredom") is a funeral doom metal band from Tbilisi, Georgia that was formed in 2012 by David Unsaved.[1] Their discography includes 3 studio albums and 2 splits.
History
Ennui was formed in May 2012 by David Unsaved, who also had other death metal and dark ambient projects. Guitarist/keyboardist Serj Shengelia joined with Unsaved and the two began composing songs. A few months later, they signed a contract with FML Records and their debut album Mze Ukunisia was released on October 30, 2012. After leaving FML Records, the band signed with Solitude Productions and on November 30, 2013, their second album The Last Way was released. They returned with their third album Falsvs Anno Domini on November 16, 2015.[2] The album was the first to feature new member Daniel Neagoe. In June 2018, Ennui left Solitude Productions and signed with Non Serviam Records, on which they plan to release a fourth album.[3]
