Ensemble Stars!
Ensemble Stars! (Japanese: あんさんぶるスターズ!, romanized: Ansanburu Staazu!) is an Japanese online smart phone game developed by Happy Elements and Cacalia Studios. The scenario is mainly written by Akira (日日日) and the event and scout stories are sometimes written by Yuno Yuuki (結城由乃). Ensemble Stars! shares similar settings with the game Ensemble Girls!, which is also a game developed and published by Happy Elements and written by Akira.[1]
Story[edit]
The story takes place at Yumenosaki Private Academy, which is a school specialized for training idols. The player transfers to Yumenosaki Private Academy as the first student for the newly created Producing Course and also as the first female student, and spend her youthful days with the unique students in Yumenosaki Private Academy.
Gameplay[edit]
Ensemble Stars! Is a card collecting game producing idols, and is also a Live2D game [2]. The player would be able to enjoy the characters moving lively, such as moving their bodies and having variety of facial expression through the Live2D.
By creating a unit consisting of five idols (Players cannot put 2 or more cards of the same character in the same unit), the player will need to conduct lessons through the Producing course. By the end of each Producing course, players would gain experience points, diamonds, and jewels (Three colors: red, blue, and yellow, and size). Using the gained jewels or the diamonds, players are able to unlock status, backgrounds, costumes, voices, and stories through the Idol Road of the card. The card would change its graphics and status by blooming the talent.
There are three different types of stories, which is the Main Story, Character Story, and Event Story. The Main Story would be unlocked through reaching a certain player level. The Character Story would be unlocked through reaching a certain intimate level of the character or training cards of the character. The Event Story would be gained through joining the events or the revival events within the game, or scouting idols by using diamonds and training the cards.
Ensemble Stars! Was a part voice game until May 2017, but from June in the same year, the Main Story became full voice [3].
