that consists of an interactive community forum, learning platform, chat rooms, and online free video courses.[1] The organisation's main intention is making learning accessible for everyone who wants to apply and study a medical-based degree. The website offers solutions for several ׳medical entrance exams׳ such as the IMAT, BMAT and the MCAT, for free[2].
History
EnterMedSchool was launched in May 2019. The founder, Ari Horesh[3], is a medical student at the university of Pavia. From May 2019 until October 2019, the website went under constant changes and updates. The original curriculum was focused on the IMAT exam only, but today (May 2020), the curriculum also includes other medical entrance exams[4]. The website is constantly being updated with the help of donations and Google ads.
During January 2020, EnterMedSchool's founder, Ari Horesh, created the official YouTube channel[5], teaching different medical related topics such as biology, chemistry, math, physics and critical thinking[6].
Reception
EnterMedSchool's platform is used by about 500 unique visitors per month, with students from over 25 countries[7]. EnterMedSchool has several active WhatsApp groups in different languages[8][9][10], the founder, Ari Horesh, and the co-founders, Salah Aldin Alwahidy and Katherina Alexander, give help to students using the this platform, or through different platform outside the website.
