Environmental and Left List in Tanum

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Environmental and Left List in Tanum (in Swedish: Miljö- och Vänsterlistan i Tanum) was a joint list of the Left Party and the Green Party in Tanum, Sweden initially created for the 2002 municipal elections. The list got 624 votes (8.9%) and four seats in the municipal council (the two parties had three seats each in the outgoing council).[1] However, even though the two national parties didn't have lists in the municipal elections, 1% of the voters voted for the Left Party and 0.9% voted for the Green Party. Those votes were not counted for the joint list, and resulted in the loss of at least one mandate. At the 2006 and 2010 municipal elections, the list got 880 votes (11.95%) and 922 votes (11.89%) respectively, resulting in five seats.[2] Before the 2014 elections, the list ceased to exist and again split to political party lists as the Green Party and the Left Party.[3][4]
