Equate (iPhone game)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Equate is an iPhone puzzle game application created by Liran Cohen and Ben Fine, then George Washington and Boston University college students. The mathematically based and challenging game was designed to be easy to learn but hard to master. Each level in Equate consists of English words that make up a mathematical equation. The player’s job is to assign numbers (0-9) to each letter in order to make the equation a true statement. As players progress through the game, the puzzles subsequently become more challenging. The puzzles in the game are cryptarithms, which are often solved using verbal arithmetic methods.

Virality

Equate gained notoriety starting directly on its release date, September 1, 2015, in Apple Applications Store. Within a week of being released, the application attained thousands of downloads worldwide.
