Equine Info Exchange is an online Media / News Company covering the international equestrian community, an industry which has a $50 billion direct economic impact to the United States.[1]. EquineInfoExchange.com (EIE) was launched in January 2015 with offices in Saratoga Springs, New York and New York City. Articles and videos are published daily.

EIE publishes content by horse trainers such as Monty Roberts[2], John Lyons (horse trainer) [3], and journalists including sports writer Wallace Matthews [4] whose credits include the New York Post, Newsday, The New York Times and New York Daily News. In 2019, the Art of the Horse announced that their articles will be published on EIE [5] [6]. EIE publishes expert health information from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine [7], the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment [8], Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital [9] and McLean Hospital a Harvard Medical School affiliate [10]. EIE also publishes content focused on popular culture and lifestyle from a wide variety of newspapers such as AZ Business Magazine [11]

EIE publishes news feeds from The Paulick Report [12] and the Kentucky Equine Research Center [13]. The company publishes excerpts from Trafalgar Square Books [14] [15]. EIE receives media credentials and provides coverage for sports events including the Breeders' Cup [16] and horse shows and competitions like the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event [17]. The company also publishes content for national retired racehorse and rehoming organizations such as the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance[18].

EIE produces content which is published in other online media sources including The Paulick Report[19] [20]. The company acted as a media partner for horse shows and conventions including Equestricon [21] [22] [23]. Thorofan includes EIE on their website. [24]. "ThoroFan is a national, non-profit established in 2008 to retain and enrich existing fans, seek out and attract new fans, and give fans a voice in the industry." [25]

Awards[edit]

EIE’s original content was nominated for an Eclipse Media Award, Feature/Commentary [26]. The Eclipse Media Award is an annual Eclipse Award category presented in recognition of excellence in Thoroughbred racing and members of the media are awarded for outstanding coverage of the sport. Two original articles published by EIE were nominated in 2017, “Penny Chenery: Mentor, Leader, Supernatural Horsewoman, Klingon Warrior” [27] and Elizabeth Arden: Thoroughbred Owner, Breeder, Healer” [28]. These two pieces are included in the collection of the renowned Keeneland Library [29] in Lexington, Kentucky, digitally and in print.
