Erbil Bozkurt (born 4 April 1990) is an English goalkeeper coach and back up goalkeeper currently at Boreham Wood. Previously, he worked as a first team goalkeeper coach at Leyton Orient. [6]
Playing career
Bozkurt is currently utilised as a back up goalkeeper to Grant Smith, in addition to his coaching duties at the club. Bozkurt has previously played as a semi-professional goalkeeper for a number of non-league football clubs, which include Cheshunt,[7] Haringey Borough, Chalfont St. Peter and Hampton & Richmond Borough.[8]
Coaching career
In July 2017, Bozkurt was appointed as first team goalkeeper coach at Boreham Wood for the 2017-18 season. Prior to this appointment, Bozkurt had been appointed as first team goalkeeper coach for Leyton Orient for the remainder of the 2016–17 season in League Two.[9] He previously worked for the youth team at Leyton Orient before being promoted.[10]
