Erez Da Drezner (Hebrew: ארז דה דרזנר, born August 1, 1978) is a Deaf Israeli model and a finalist in Big Brother season 2.
Biography
Da Drezner was born in Haifa, Israel. He attended a special education school and later studied jewelry making. After high school, he served in the Israel Defense Forces Medical Corps. Following his discharge, he studied interior design, cooking, and confectionery. He worked as a model for the Elite Modeling Agency and appeared in Elle magazine.
In 2005, he worked as an instructor in special education schools. On July 18, 2024, he married Alexandra, a Ukrainian Deaf woman, in Lviv.
Participation in Big Brother
At 31, Da Drezner participated in Big Brother season 2, aiming to be a positive role model for the Deaf community. He became one of the standout characters but was expelled after reaching sixth place.
In 2010 and 2011, he wrote a weekly column on the Mako website about the show. In 2012, he sued the production company and Keshet Media Group for allegedly receiving psychiatric pills during the show that caused side effects.
Career
After the show, Da Drezner led fundraising campaigns and gave lectures in schools across Israel. He participated in fashion shows, demonstrations, and television shows like Wipeout Israel and Laughter from Work. He also competed in beauty pageants for the Deaf, including Miss & Mister Deaf World and Miss & Mister Deaf International, where he won the title of "Mister Deaf Photogenic".
Da Drezner holds a professional certificate in fitness training from the Wingate Institute and serves as a fitness trainer in Israel and around the world. In 2021, he joined Grace Model Management in Tel Aviv.
In February 2024, Da Drezner went to Ukraine as a representative of the Association of the Deaf in Israel, met with the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf, and then went on to Poland. In September 2024, he volunteered at the oncology center of the regional hospital for children in Rivne and agreed to assist with raising funds for the hospital.
