Eric Buermann

Eric Buermann is General Counsel of Republican Party of Florida, General Counsel to the Miami-Dade Republican Party, and former General Counsel to Bush-Cheney in 2000. In 2005, he was appointed by Florida Governor Jeb Bush as his representative to the Miami River Commission Policy Committee. In 2024, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reappointed Buermann to the Environmental Regulation Commission.
He has received numerous awards including the James Webb Award from the Everglades Coalition and the Dan Beard Environment Award from the Tropical Audubon Society. Buermann earned his bachelor’s degree from Brown University and his master’s degree in business administration and his juris doctor from the University of Miami.
