Eric Charles Sinoway (born December 08, 1973) is an American businessman, speaker, and author.[1][2].[3] His book, Howard's Gift: Uncommon Wisdom to Inspire Your Life's Work[4], features business and life lessons from Harvard University professor Howard Stevenson and a variety of well-known guest contributors, including award-winning journalist Soledad O'Brien, iHeart Radio Chairman Bob Pittman, Race for the Cure Founder Nancy Brinker, and Teach for America founder Wendy Kopp[5]. The English edition of Howard's Gift was released in 2012 and translated into Chinese[6], Korean[7], Taiwanese, and Japanese.

Sinoway has written extensively about the topics of corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and culture in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, and other publications[8][9][10][11][12]

Sinoway was born and raised in the Landing section of Roxbury, a township in Morris County, New Jersey. His parents, Madeline, a science teacher, and Lawrence, a businessman, met at Penn State University. He attended Roxbury High School, where his sister, Donna Altman, graduated as valedictorian in 1988. Sinoway graduated in 1992 and enrolled in the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration where he was selected as a member of the Cornell Tradition program. He was a Park Fellow finalist in his senior year. In 2004, Sinoway enrolled in the Mid-Career program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, which he completed in 2005.
