Eric Cook (1916-1985) was an english-born pianist, orchestrator, composer and conductor.
Career[edit]
There are limited sources of information about his life. Cook began his carrer as a concert pianist, playing in top military bands during WW2. After the war he worked as as a conductor and orchestrator for a number of british films and tv shows. He also composed a number of pieces, most notably his solo for trombone, Bolivar.
In 1964 he moved to australia, where he continued his work with film scores. He died there in 1985.
