Hon. Eric Go Yap

Eric Go Yap (born May 11, 1979) is a Filipino philanthropist and public servant who currently serves as a Representative of Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Partylist in the House of Representatives.

Political Careeer[1][edit]

Yap was first elected into public office in 2019, together with Jocelyn Pua-Tulfo and Rowena Niña Taduran as representatives of the ACT-CIS partylist during the 18th Congress of the Philippines.

Yap was appointed as the Chairperson of House Committee on Games and Amusement which tackles all matters directly and principally relating to all forms and places of gaming and amusements.

He also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization and Committee on Ways and Means. Alongside, he is a member of the Committee on Accounts; Banks and Financial Intermediaries; Energy; Higher and Technical Education; Legislative Franchises; Overseas Workers Affairs; Public Works and Highways; and Transportation.
