Eric James LaRuez (born October 1, 1996) is an American amateur NPC competitor in the Classic Physique division and the owner of the nutrition and workout supplement company Silver Lion Supplements.
LaRuez was born and raised in Rochester, New York, where he was involved in multiple sports throughout his childhood, primarily Taekwondo from the ages of 9 to 17, where he achieved his black belt. He started weight lifting shortly after high school at the age of 18, when he weighed only 135 pounds.
Bodybuilding career
LaRuez made his competitive debut at age 22 in 2019 at the 2019 INBF Spring Northern States Supernatural in Buffalo, New York. He has announced that he will be competing at the 2022 National Physique Committee Ironman in Sarasota, Florida on September 10 in the Classic Physique division.[1] LaRuez has stated that his goal is to acquire his International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness pro-card and to one day compete on the Mr. Olympia stage.
