Remrod is an American photographer, cinematographer, director, and Editor. He is based out of St. Louis, MO. Remrod has won awards for video production from the radio station Hot 104.1's traffic music awards for film/videographer of the year twice.[1]

Delux Magazine & Express Scripts 2016 Emerging 30 under 30 Award. Remrod has also won best video with Snoop Dogg's underground heat competition. Remrod started his company, Remrod Photography, in 2009. Remrod spent his early childhood involved in sports, music, and working behind the camera. He was raised in Jennings, Missouri by his mother, Sandra Wells, and then moved with his father, Eric R. Mayes Sr., during his high school years.[2]

Early life and education

Remrod attended college at Kansas State University to pursue a business degree, which he later transferred to Fontbonne University. Remrod dropped out of college to pursue entrepreneurship, after which he attended barber school and graduated with a trade. He then became a full-time photographer due to word of mouth and demand in his city. Remrod started shooting photography his senior year at Clayton High School, graduating in 2005. He then ventured into film. Remrod has toured Europe with platinum-selling artist Chingy, visiting Paris and Belgium. Remrod has a catalog of major artists he has worked with and has starred in his films. Remrod has worked with Nelly, Chingy, St. Lunatics, J-Kwon, Jibbs, 2 Chainz, Lil St. Louis, Jazze Pha, Jermaine Dupri, Bun B, Junior Reid, Yo Gotti, Tef Poe, Jay E Diamond (producer, Basement Beats), Lil Durk, Nipsey Hussle, Young Noble (Outlawz), and Freeway. Remrod was featured on BET Jams with Byrd B's "Dinner" music video.

Remrod is A+ accredited with the BBB. He has traveled extensively doing what he loves. Remrod has worked with schools and production companies such as Old Vienna and Verizon for events. He has also created his own hit reality show called "The New Spot," which featured some of the hottest and newest small businesses in the city, including Miss Robbie Montgomery from the hit show "Sweetie Pies."
