Barkemeyer's Quantum theory of theology states that the quantum universe and the spiritual world are the same and can be bridged to this physical world by the conscious mind. The conscious mind causes an event to come into existence by collapsing it's wave function. In the Quantum universe there exists superposition which allows, i.e. a cat to be alive and dead at the same time. This state of being alive and dead at the same time is very similar to the spiritual world. It is only determined which it is, alive or dead, by a conscious observer making a measurement of it. Consciousness thus links the physical world with the quantum world ...which are actually just one world. Similarly, the quantum world is indeterminate and uncertain, much like faith is in the spiritual world. The quantum world does not follow the same rules as the physical world, Quite to the contrary. as one delves into the quantum world it more and more seems like that described in most of the major world religions. Miracles in this world are common place in the quantum mechanical world. It is possible that God is not very big but rather very small. Though the quantum world stretches to the ends of the universe.
One can access insight from this quantum realm thru conscious and unconscious intuition that allows one to connects things in the physical universe that were not connected before. Some people seem more attuned to do this than others. Some people talk to God. This doesnt seem improbable if consciousness allows us to bridge the two worlds. Thus, science, psychology and theology are all connected. This notion explains a great many mysteries that have confronted man.
