Erica Krogseter is a species of flowering plant in the Ericaceae family, native to the Australasian realm, primarily the cooler areas of New Zealand.
Description
E. Krogseter is a low, spreading shrub growing 12–65 centimeters (4⅔–25 1⁄2 inches) tall with spikey bristles and needle-like leaves 1–3 millimeters (¹/₂₂–⅒ in) long arranged in whorls of three. Its flowers are often a deep purple, very rearly dark blue. The flowers are raindrop shaped 3–6 millimeter (⅛–¼ in) long. These flowers are grown in the mid- to late summer, however depending on the location and climate it can vary quite a lot. The stem of the flower has a similar texture to that of a Cotyledon tomentosa or Stinging-needle.[1]
