Search Erik Burnham on Amazon.Erik Burnham (born February 26, 1978) is an American comics writer and cartoonist[1].[2]. His best known works are the comic books based upon the Ghostbusters franchise.
Career[edit]
Burnham began his comic career at Shooting Star Comics[3], writing and drawing the Nick Landime feature[4].
In 2008, IDW hired Burnham as writer/artist on a story for Gene Simmon's House of Horror anthology[5]. He later began work on the new Ghostbusters series of comics, with artist Dan Schoening.[6] The first series of Ghostbusters was launched in 2011 and to-date they have worked on more than 75 issues together[7]
Burnham has also worked on the licensed comics of TMNT, Back to the Future, Galaxy Quest, The A-Team and Mars Attacks!
In 2016, Burnham and Illustrator Kyle Hotz created the Official Tobin's Spirit Guide[8], an in-universe guide to the ghosts and ghouls that appear in the Ghostbusters world, written from the fictional perspective of the characters Dr Egon Spengler and Dr Ray Stantz.
