Erin Elmore, Esq. is an attorney, political strategist[1] and on-air political correspondent.[2] During the 2016 Presidential election, Elmore was a spokesperson (“surrogate”) for Donald Trump,[3][4][5][6][7] whom she met as a contestant on the NBC show, “The Apprentice 3”.[8][9] She was even called one of Trump’s favorites.[10] Her television commentary has been featured on CNN,[11][12] Fox News,[13][14][15] Fox Business Network,[16] MSNBC,[17][18] Yahoo News[19] and Good Morning Britain.[20][21] Elmore personally interviewed Ivanka Trump on several occasions during the presidential campaign.[22][23][24] At the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Erin worked as the Deputy Press Secretary for Caucus Operations. She then crossed party lines to cover events at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. She is a founding board member of the Pennsylvania Great Frontier PAC, has hosted a “Spirit of America Rally” and even considered running for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania.

Elmore has also worked as an on-air travel host at home shopping channel, QVC for 7 years. [25][26][27] She is a

graduate of Villanova University School of Law [28][29][30][31][32] and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar

in good standing[33] . She earned her undergraduate degree in political science in broadcasting from the

University of Miami, cum laude [34][35][36][37][38] .

Elmore is the Peggy and Dr. James S. Elmore, an oral surgeon [39] . She was born in Hershey, PA, grew up

in Peters Township, PA an now resides in Philadelphia.[40][41]

Early life and education[edit]

Elmore attended high school at Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania, outside of Pittsburgh.[42] In 2003 she graduated from Villanova University School of Law.[43] In October 2012, Elmore married Craig M. Spitzer,[44] a World Trade Center 9/11 survivor and technology CEO.[45]

Career[edit]

After passing the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Exams, Elmore briefly practiced law in the field of civil litigation. In 2005, she was a contestant on season 3 of The Apprentice.[46][47] She went on to work as a general assignment reporter for NBC 12 in Jacksonville, Florida. In May 2011 she returned to Philadelphia where she worked as an on-air co-host at QVC,[35] and continues to work there part-time.

Political correspondent[edit]

Elmore described herself as relatively apolitical[48] until November 2015 when asked by CNN to appear on Out Front with Erin Burnett to discuss her relationship with Donald TrumpCNN quickly noticed Elmore’s ability to succinctly and articulately address relevant political issues[49] that she was asked to appear on other CNN shows.[50][51] She then began officially working with Donald Trump’s campaign and started appearing on Fox News and Fox Business.[52][53][54][55][56][57][58]

Elmore was to be the Republican National Convention deputy press secretary for caucus operations – part of a communications team that was the interface with Trump's campaign – but left the team, remaining "one of the campaign's surrogate media spokespeople".[59]
