Ernest Walter Dempsey III (born November 12, 1975) is an American fiction author with a primary focus on the action & adventure genre and the archaeological thriller subgenre.

In October 2017, Dempsey[1] hit the USA Today bestseller list with his novel The Uluru Code.[2]

Biography

Ernest Dempsey was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1975.

After four years at Collegedale Academy in Chattanooga, Dempsey attended Southern Adventist University from 1995–2003, earning a B.S. in Psychology and a master's degree in School Counseling.

After college, he obtained a job as a high school guidance counselor and soccer coach at Dalton High School in Dalton, Georgia.[3] In 2010, Dempsey transitioned to Morris Innovative High School where he continued his work as a counselor, and both founded and coached the men's soccer program.

During his time in the public school system, Dempsey wrote stories in his free time,

Personal Life

In September 2015, Dempsey married Megan Sticher. Dempsey, his wife Megan, and their daughter Arden live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
