Ernest Hirsh auschwitz suvivor professional soccer player

Ernest Hirsh was born in Romania and at age 16 he and his family were rounded up by the Nazis and shipped them to Auschwitz. His parents were immediately killed and Ernest sent to work camp called Varembrook and other work camps. Afterbecause he was young and strong. After liberation he waked for months finally ending in Italy. He then played soccer for the Italian team for three years until he was recruited into the Israeli Army and moved to Israel. After the war of Independance Ernest played soccer for the Israelis. Ernest was one of their top players.
