Ernest Riffe is a Canadian film editor based in Greater Sudbury.

Career[edit]

A former student of Canadian filmmaker B. P. Paquette, Riffe began his picture editing career as assistant picture editor on numerous feature films, movie-of-the-weeks, TV programs, short films, TV commercials, corporate videos and music videos. His first feature film as picture editor was on Paquette's Perspective, and he has since collaborated with the director on all of his subsequent films.

Riffe also edited director Zahra Golafshani's short Bullet-Headed, which was a finalist in the Open category at the CTV Best in Shorts Competition at Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival. The film went on to receive the prize Runner-Up (Open Category) [1][2][3][4] and was awarded funding from BravoFACT.[5]
