History
Owner Sean Johnson began making mead and beer as a home brewer in 2009, then over time became president of the local homebrew club West Coast Brewers Inc. Erosion began production in 2015 with a collaboration called "Erosion Biere De Miel" with Artisan Brewing (Denmark, WA) and another collaboration "Oaklore Braggot" for Great Australian Beer Spectapular 2018 with Indian Ocean Brewing Company. The company opened a production facility and cellar door in Bibra Lake, Western Australia in 2019 and released Land of Hops and Honey in cans.

Products
Erosion has produced over 33 different meads, "Using hand pitted local black cherries with wildflower honey and Philly sour yeast to provide a sour cherry character." Erosion's core range consists of lower alcohol meads tailored for the Australian climate. This includes the traditional mead Normie (a dry to semi-sweet traditional mead), a Braggot called Nordic Storm marketed as a Hazy Honey IPA, and three session melomels Jammed (Strawberry and Blueberry), Just Peachy (Peaches) and The Pash (Passionfruit). Seasonal styles include Land of Hops and Honey, Nord Juice, both utilising hops placing them in the metheglin category, and a range of Cysers.
Erosion from time to time also produces higher alcohol meads, like Molé, a pasilla, guajillo Chilli Mead(Capsicumel) at 12% ABV.
