Errol Rennalls (born 9th September 1961) is a songwriter, co-founder of Peppermint Jam Records and co-owner of SPV GmbH.

Born in Birmingham, UK in 1961, Errol Rennalls moved to Germany, with his brother Delory Rennalls, in 1984 and worked as a dancer and a DJ before taking on an A&R role at SPV GmbH.

In 1993, with long-term friend Mustafa Gündogdu aka Mousse T., Errol Rennalls co-founded Peppermint Jam Records which specialised in the production and distribution of Uplifting House music.[1]

In 1997 the pair wrote and composed two tracks titled “Are You Sure” and Bye Bye (street Mix) which both appeared on the Randy Crawford album “Every Kind Of Mood. Randy, Randi, Randee”.[2]

Errol Rennalls is also the co-writer of Mousse T’s 1998 release Horny '98 feat. Hot ‘n’ Juicy which reached the top of the Billboard dance charts in the late 1990s and Top 20 in the UK and Australia. It was also featured on Chef Aid: The South Park Album.

In 2000 the pair co-wrote Mouse T’s collaboration with Sir Tom Jones, Sex Bomb which became the biggest single from Jones' 1999 album Reload. It became a smash hit across Europe, reaching number one in France and Switzerland, while also becoming a top-three hit in the United Kingdom, Austria, Iceland, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Belgium.

In 2004, Errol was again credited with co-writing Mousse T’s “Is It 'Cos I'm Cool?” feat. Emma Lanford. It became Mousse T.'s third top ten hit on the UK Singles Chart, reaching number nine. Elsewhere, the song reached the top 20 in Austria, Finland, and Italy and peaked within the top 50 in several other countries.

In 2007 Errol Rennalls co-wrote the soundtrack to Marc Rothemund’s feature film Pornorama.

In 2012 Rennalls and Gündogdu became co-owners of SPV GmbH with Rennalls taking on the role of Managing Director.[3]

Currently, Errol Rennalls is the Co-owner/A&R Manager of Peppermint Jam Records and the Co-owner of SPV GmbH.[4]
