Esma Numanović is a singer-songwriter from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Originally from Zvornik, Esma was born in 1992 in Nürnberg, Germany. While growing up, she used all her free time to form her artistic path. After extracurricular art activities, participation in the local music competition ZMBT '11 and decades of public performances as a cover singer, Esma decided to devote herself to songwriting in 2019.
Numanović claims that genre does not define her, but the dominant tone of her songs includes sounds that resemble pop, rock, soul, sevdah, flamenco and reggae. Her solo career started with the song Mrvice sunca (2019) and continued with the songs Run (2020), Ko je s kim (2020), Infrared (2021) and Daleko (2021), while with the song Blesav and the upcoming album she lays the foundation for a successful solo career. The upcoming album was recorded under the supervision of experienced producers. Eric Bajramović and Alan Omerović took care of quality sound recording while mixing and mastering were entrusted to Eric Bajramović. The music producer of the album, Damir Imamović, initiated and fully supervised the creation, recording and editing of all upcoming 11 songs. With this, and all of the efforts of artists involved, they ensured that the single Blesav and the coming album Blista would be a work of art.
Esma Numanović lives and works in Sarajevo.
