Ethelbert L. Nevens
Ethelbert (Bert, Red) LeRoy Nevens (born February 15, 1902) was an American politician and a member of the American Socialist Party. He was a candidate for the Massachusetts Auditor in the Massachusetts General Election, 1962 and the Massachusetts General Election, 1964.
Bert Nevens was born and raised in East Milton, Massachusetts and attended Milton High School and was the senior class president in 1919. He graduated from Brown University in 1925, where he was a member of the outdoor track club and cross-country team. He served as the cross-country captain in 1924. He was also a member of the Bear Club.
He died on October 31, 1964.
