Eucalyptus is a healthcare company, consisting of brands Juniper, Pilot, Software, Compound and Kin, offering direct-to-consumer products and telehealth services.

Eucalyptus was founded in 2019 by Tim Doyle, Benny Kleist, Charlie Gearside and Alexey Mitko in Sydney, Australia.

History[edit]

Pilot was the first brand launched under Eucalyptus in 2019.[1] Eucalyptus has since launched Kin, Software, Juniper and Compound in Australia, while also expanding Juniper into the UK, Germany and Japan.[2][3]

In June 2023, Eucalyptus purchased the digital assets of Jenny Craig Australia after the brand fell into voluntary administration.[4]

Fundraising[edit]

Eucalyptus raised AUD $8 million in its Series A fundraising in May 2020, which included investors Woolworths Group (Australia), through its venture capital arm W23, and venture capital firm, Blackbird Ventures.[5][6]

The company raised AUD $30 million in Series B fundraising in July 2021 and $60 million in Series C in January 2022.[7] Another fundraising round in 2023 saw the company land AUD $50 million, mostly from previous investors Blackbird, BOND Capital and W23.[8]

In April 2023, the company was valued at $560 million.[9]
