Eugene Burroughs (born c. 1973) is the head coach for the Delaware 87ers. He is a former shooting coach for the Philadelphia 76ers.[1]

College career

He began his college coaching career in 1996 for American University. He then coached at Hofstra University. Burroughs served as an assistant and associate coach in two stints for the Marist University. He served as the associate head coach for the Pennsylvania State University from 2011 to 2013. At the end of 2013, he returned to Marist University.[2][3][4]

Professional career

In 2014, Burroughs was hired by the Philadelphia 76ers as their shooting coach.[5] In 2016, he became the head coach for the Delaware 87ers after Kevin Young and Joe Bryant were named assistant coaches for the Philadelphia 76ers. [6]

Personal life

Burroughs is a lifelong Philadelphia resident. He starred at Episcopal Academy.[7][4]
