Eurasian Media Forum
The Eurasian Media Forum (EAMF) is an annual conference of media, thought-leaders and public figures to discuss the strategic role of Eurasia in World Affairs.[1] The forum is held each year in Astana, Kazakhstan. The forum has been called "an open platform for a battle of opinions."[2]
The EAMF was initiated on the ideas of Dariga Nazarbayeva in 2002 as a non-political and non-profit association. The Forum is committed to open discussion of issues and problems affecting East and West. The Forum has expanded their interests beyond the Eurasian continent, and is an interactive world-class stage.[3]
Speakers[edit]
The forum draws speakers from business, politics and media.[4] Roger Gale, while member of UK Parliament, received a speaking fee of between £5,000-£10,000.[5]
