The European Journal of Social Security is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all aspects of social security at the level of the European Union or comparatively in different European states. It was established in 1999 and the editors-in-chief are Frans Pennings (Utrecht University) and Michael Adler (Edinburgh University). In 1999−2002 the journal was published by Kluwer, from 2003 by Intersentia.
