The 24 Hours iLumen European Solar Challenge is a biennial race for solar cars. The event has been held since 2016 at the Circuit Zolder.[1]

The next race will be in September 2026.

Since 2018, teams have been allowed to participate with two different cars.

  • 2016 – September 24 to 25 – (14 participants) 1st place: Solar Team Twente 2nd place: Tesla White 3rd place: Punch Powertrain Solar Team
  • 2018 – September 22 to 23 – (22 participants) 1st place: Solar Team Twente Red Shift 2nd place: Solar Team Twente Red One 3rd place: Sonnenwagen Aachen
