Early Life[edit]
Evander McElroy (Jan 7th, 1997) is an American Film Maker, and student from San Francisco, CA. He's best known for making the Dick Pound YouTube short films, and his short lived book series, OOP.
He was born to Brett Whorton and Laurie McElroy, at San Francisco General Hospital (Now Zuckerberg General Hospital) on January 7th, 1997. Not much is known about his life as a baby, except for the fact that his father wasn't in the picture very much.
Evander went to Rooftop Elementary School, and Rooftop Middle School. He went to the Academy of Arts and Sciences for a few months before transferring to Gateway High around March of 2012.
In 2015, Evander graduated High School, and moved to Portland, OR. He soon moved back, as the living situation with his father was unstable.
Career[edit]
Evander started his Career around 2012, where he would make (now lost) silly comics. The most well known comic he made was about a bug named "Fun Bug". By 2013, he no longer made comics, but did make short films using MS Paint, and iMovie. The best known of these is Dick Pound. A series about a man who thinks he's much more important than he is, when he's really a loser, and no one wants to tell him.
Dick Pound really didn't take off until after High School, when Evander moved to Oregon the first time. He pretty much made them semi-regularly until September of 2018, when his mother passed away. This Hiatus has stopped intermittently but there has not been a real Dick Pound episode since then.
Evander also has made a few music singles, under the Dick Pound moniker.
Personal Life[edit]
Evander met his future spouse, Trinity in 2016. They both moved to Oregon and were married in 2019. They have 3 cats together, Chunk (Born Chunkbert Astro Boy Cat), Puddin' Pop, and Smidge. They both happily live in Portland, OR.
