Plot
Prelude: "Leviathan Rising"
One night in Seattle, Jimmy Olsen witnessed the Cult of Kobra being engulfed by a mysterious blue light. Meanwhile, Lois Lane met up with her father Sam outside the Exelon Observatory. She later revealed to him Superman's secret identity as "Clark Kent" in an attempt to trust each other. Sam did not respond. Meanwhile, Superman found himself flying across Atlanta, Georgia, until he saved Amanda Waller from falling from a tall building.[2]
Adam Strange arrived at the headquarters of the D.E.O., where he was met by Director Bones, who requested Adam's assistance after Supergirl left Earth. The D.E.O. was attacked by a mysterious towering creature that generated a blue light and destroyed the building. Meanwhile, Amanda Waller had a secret meeting with Sam Lane at a secure building. But as it turned out to be a trap, Waller and Lane attempted to escape the building, but the blue light caught up to them. Clark and Lois had taken Jimmy to his home, only to find Waller standing on the doorstep.[3]
