In the 1950s to the 1980s, American corporations commissioned a vast array of lavish, Broadway-style musical shows only for the eyes and ears of employees to sell other products.

On December 15, 2016, it was announced that Amblin Partners and Marc Platt were set to produce the musical adaptation of Steve Young and Sport Murphy’s Everything's Coming Up Profits: The Golden Age of Industrial Musicals, with Steven Levenson writing the script.^[1]
