Excitatory gnosis

Excitatory gnosis describes a mindlessness reached through intense arousal.[1] It is aimed to be reached through sexual excitation, intense emotions, flagellation, dance, drumming, chanting, sensory overload, the "right way of walking"[2] described by Carlos Castaneda, hyperventilation and the use of disinhibitory or hallucinogenic drugs.[3]
