Exclusive Ballooning Limited is a British aerial advertising company based in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England. The Company was founded in 1999 by Operations Director Andrew Holly.[1] specialising in the operation of hot air balloons for the purposes of aerial marketing. Alongside their commercial operation of balloons, the company has an events division that is responsible for the organisation of hot air balloon events.

Exclusive Ballooning's clients have included Disney[2][3][4], Fortnum & Mason[5][6], Hunter Boot Ltd[7] and Financial Times[8] with world-wide marketing campaigns.

Events[edit]

In 2008, Exclusive Ballooning founded The Exclusive Cup, an annual hot air balloon competition held at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. In 2016, the event moved to Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire creating The Exclusive Cup Sky Safari[9]. By 2019, the event grew to become the largest annual hot air balloon event in Europe[10] boasting almost 200 balloons and hosting the UK's largest balloon glow with 57 balloons. Pilots travel from as far field as the United States, United Arab Emirates and Lithuania to attend the four-day event[11]

June 2015 saw the launch of a new event by the company, The Lord Mayor's Hot Air Balloon Regatta®[12]. Created in support of The Lord Mayor's Appeal, the event features a mass ascent of balloons over London, raising awareness and funds for the charity. To date, the annual event has raised a total of £251,724[13] across four flights. Due to poor weather conditions, the 2018 event was unable to proceed, with the 2020 event also being abandoned due to Coronavirus restrictions.
