Exclusive Charter Service (ECS Jets) is an American private airline based in West Palm Beach, Florida specializing in on-demand jet charter, jet cards, and member services.[2] Now known as Exclusive, ECS Jets has its main office in Palm Beach, and other locations in New York City, Nashville, Miami, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles and Ronkonkoma, Long Island, in New York.[3] All Exclusive flights are operated by Custom Jet Charters, LLC.[4]

History[edit]

Exclusive Charter Service was founded in 2004 by Jason Johnson and Adam Klein. The company was originally founded as an on-demand boutique membership program, but has since grown into a full-service Part 135* management firm.[5] In 2012, ECS acquired Custom Jet Charters, which allowed the company to expand its operations world-wide as well as add acquisitions, management, and maintenance services.[6]

Relief Aid[edit]

Since its founding, ECS has participated in the relief efforts after several natural disasters. ECS provided the first non-military aircraft to bring relief supplies to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010.[7] In 2017, ECS Jets partnered with Friends of Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria 250,000 pounds of supplies on October 20, 2017.[8] Over the next 90 days, ECS delivered its intended goal of three million pounds of supplies, such as industrial generators, medicine, food, and water, to various locations around Puerto Rico, including the Regazo de Paz orphanage in Aguadilla.[9] ECS founder Jason Johnson stated that he wanted to help get all of the donated supplies to where they needed to be.[10]

Partners[edit]

ECS is partnered with companies including Waldorf Astoria's Boca Raton Resort and Beach Club, The Private Plan, Elite Tennis Travel, The Good Life Bahamas, In The Know Experiences, SoberLink, and 24/7 SUV.[11]

Companies[edit]

Custom Jet Charters is ECS Jets' operating company, which holds the Part 135 FAA certificate and operates all Exclusive flights.[12][13] Exclusive Charter Services also operates Yachts Worldwide, a yacht charter service company.[14]

Services[edit]

ECS Jets' services include jet charter, aircraft management, ground transportation, catering, concierge services, yacht charter, and aircraft sales.[15] Exclusive also provides empty legs jet charters, which are private jet charter flights that become available because a client has chartered a flight in only one direction. The return leg of the trip thus becomes available for other clients. [16] ECS offers a variety of cargo transportation services from packing to freight to door-to-door delivery and provides these services for events such as trade shows, tours, and sporting events.[17]

Exclusive Aero Club[edit]

The Exclusive Aero Club is ECS' membership club, which can be joined through either an application process or through member referral. Members pay an initiation fee and annual dues for benefits and perks available only to members. There are both individual family and business membership options.[18]
