Excursion Insurance

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Tour operators looking to work with cruise lines and take cruise passengers on tours while in port must have excursion insurance. Excursion insurance allows for tour operators to provide an assurance to the cruise lines that they have the minimum insurance required by the cruise lines before their tours are recommended and listed in the Tour Operator Gateway. Tours that do not carry excursion insurance are still able to operate in their local jurisdiction but are not able to market themselves through the cruise lines.[1]
