Exiles

Exiles is a zone, located in the village of Tas-Sliema, boardering St. Julians, Balluta, it is a busy zone with shops, restaurants, and hotels. It is known for gnien indiperdenza and the exiles rocky beack along side the cristal clear sea.

History

The Exiles is an area dating back to since 1876, from when Sliema became a patrich. Exiles was first called il-Qortin, meaning peace and quiet.

Politics

The Sliema counsil group has its headquarters in Santa Clara, a school in Exiles.
